Dependent upon product and audience, S1 employs a variety of course delivery methods such as:

  • Instructor-led classroom training Instructors employ hands-on exercises, coaching, and demonstrations to maximize understanding and retention. This delivery method is ideal for gaining knowledge that is immediately applicable in the workplace. Instructor-led courses are available at designated S1 training sites.
  • Instructor-led online seminars Web-based seminars allow participants to learn from the convenience of their home or office. Instructors employ lecture, demonstrations, and question and answer sessions through the Internet. This delivery option is designed for participants and presentations that do not require a hands-on learning experience.

Certification
System administrators have the opportunity to become certified on selected Branch products by following an outlined training path. Certification proves to employers that the candidate is skilled at performing complex tasks, while also proving to be a contributing factor in employee retention. All S1 Branch customers are required to have at least two system administrators certified. Customers have the option to participate in web-based seminars, or attend instructor-led courses.
